There are some brands you think you already understand.
For me, Sharper Image was one of them.
I associated the name with gadgets — the kind of unusual electronics and clever gifts you might discover while looking for something a little different.
But browsing Sharper Image in September 2026 made the brand feel much broader than that.
The current assortment stretches across electronics, home products, wellness, massage and recovery, travel, outdoor living, entertainment and gifting.
And with fall underway and the holiday season getting closer, this might be one of the more interesting times of the year to look at what Sharper Image has become.
Sharper Image Is Still About Gadgets — Just Not in the Way I Remember

Technology is still a huge part of Sharper Image.
But “gadgets” now covers a surprisingly wide range of products.
The current electronics department includes phone accessories, photo and video products, charging devices, TVs and home theater equipment, speakers, computers, sleep technology, wearable devices and more.
Some products are genuinely practical.
There are wireless charging stands, multi-device charging stations and wireless TV headphones.
Others bring back some of the personality I associate with Sharper Image, like its Vintage Bluetooth CD Player or outdoor Bluetooth speakers designed to look like tiki torches.
That combination seems to be an important part of the brand in 2026.
Useful enough to solve a problem. Interesting enough that you actually want to try it.
The Home Category Has Become Enormous

I wasn't expecting home and garden to be one of the biggest parts of the site.
But it is.
Sharper Image currently carries products across home décor, outdoor living, bed and bath, travel, heating and cooling, storage, office products, pet supplies and home improvement.
And this is where the brand's slightly unconventional approach becomes more obvious.
A standard home retailer might sell you a bird feeder.
Sharper Image currently has a Video Camera Hummingbird Feeder.
You'll also find products ranging from lighting and organization solutions to outdoor speakers, magnifying lamps and comfort-focused bedroom accessories.
It's less about filling an entire home with one aesthetic and more about discovering individual upgrades that do something interesting.
Wellness Is Now a Much Bigger Part of the Sharper Image World

This was probably the biggest shift I noticed.
Sharper Image's Health & Wellness department spans beauty, personal care, recovery, heat therapy and other wellness categories.
That includes products such as its Infrared Heating Pad, Dry Eye Therapy Mask and LED Light Therapy Mask, alongside a much broader collection of wellness devices.
There's also a separate health-care collection featuring things like daily-living aids, health monitors, vision products and travel-wellness accessories.
I think an important distinction here is that wellness technology isn't automatically medical treatment.
Some products are designed around comfort, relaxation, monitoring or everyday routines, and devices that track health information shouldn't be treated as replacements for professional medical care when that's needed.
Still, the size of the collection shows just how far Sharper Image has expanded beyond entertainment gadgets.
Some of the Most Interesting Products Solve Really Small Problems

Not every useful piece of technology needs to reinvent your life.
Sometimes it just needs to fix something annoying.
That's where I think Sharper Image still feels most like itself.
A Portable Smartphone Photo Vault gives people another way to manage phone photos. A 3-in-1 Foldable Wireless Charging Stand tackles the collection of devices that inevitably need charging. A Bluetooth Headphone Adapter is designed to make personal headphones more useful while traveling.
None of those ideas sound revolutionary.
But that's almost the point.
Sharper Image seems particularly good at finding small inconveniences and turning them into products.
Travel Has Its Own Collection of Clever Upgrades

The travel department is another good example of how broad the brand has become.
There are traditional products such as backpacks, duffel bags and toiletry bags, but also travel pillows, organization products, portable electronics and luggage-security accessories.
That mix becomes especially relevant as we move toward November and December, when holiday travel starts entering the picture.
And it follows the same formula I noticed elsewhere on the site.
Sharper Image isn't necessarily trying to reinvent the suitcase.
It's looking for ways to make packing, organizing, relaxing and using technology while traveling a little easier.
Fall 2026 Is Bringing Out a Different Side of the Brand

The collection covers home décor, wellness, outdoor products, kitchen items, electronics, automotive accessories, lighting and seasonal products.
Some picks make perfect sense for cooler weather, including the Warming Backrest Massager and other comfort-focused products.
Then there are more playful seasonal additions, including an Animated Jack-O-Lantern, alongside outdoor technology and home gadgets.
It feels very Sharper Image:
Comfort + Technology + Seasonal Fun + Things You Probably Weren't Specifically Shopping For
The New Arrivals Page Might Be the Best Way to Understand Sharper Image

If I wanted to explain the brand to someone who hadn't visited Sharper Image in years, I'd probably send them straight to New Arrivals.
As of late September 2026, the collection covers everything from technology and home products to wellness, fitness, travel and entertainment.
One of the current additions is a 35L Foldable Towel Warmer with Timer.
Another is an AI Interactive Bunny Companion.
Those two products being in the same collection pretty much explains the modern Sharper Image experience.
You never quite know what the next scroll is going to bring.
Then There’s the Gift Side — Which Might Be Where Sharper Image Makes the Most Sense

Once October turns into November and December, Sharper Image's enormous gift assortment becomes much more relevant.
The gift department includes dedicated sections for different recipients, personalized gifts and multiple price ranges.
Current products range from a Smartphone Photo Printer and Luxury Towel Warmer to a Cordless Electronic Return Putting Mat, Surround Sound Shower System and Tabletop Fireplace.
That's exactly where Sharper Image has an advantage as a gift-shopping destination.
You're not necessarily searching for something someone already asked for.
You're searching for the thing that makes them say:
“Wait...what is that?”
And then immediately want to try it.
The Brand Works Best When You Browse Rather Than Search
Most online shopping starts with a specific need.
You know you need headphones, a lamp or a travel bag, so you search for one.
Sharper Image feels different.
It's one of those stores where browsing itself is part of the experience.
You might arrive looking at electronics and end up discovering a towel warmer. Or start in home products and stumble across an unusual outdoor gadget.
That unpredictability could easily make the assortment feel random.
Instead, there's a fairly consistent thread running through it:
Can an existing product be made smarter, easier, more comfortable or simply more fun?
That seems to be the question behind a lot of what Sharper Image sells.
Sharper Image in 2026 Feels Familiar — but Much Broader

After taking a fresh look, I don't think Sharper Image has abandoned the identity people remember.
The gadgets are absolutely still here.
What's changed is everything surrounding them.
The brand now moves between smart electronics, home upgrades, wellness technology, travel gear, outdoor products, comfort solutions and unusual gifts with surprising ease.
Heading through fall and into the 2026 holiday season, that broad assortment makes even more sense.
Some shoppers will come for something practical.
Others will be looking for a gift.
And plenty will probably discover something they had absolutely no intention of buying.
That last part may still be the most Sharper Image thing about Sharper Image.
