Why Do Cigar Buyers Keep Coming Back to Gotham?
Short answer: range and price. Gotham stocks big name brands like Arturo Fuente, Padron, Rocky Patel and Montecristo, and it lists most items below the suggested retail price. It also runs its own house lines, such as the Gotham Exclusives and Flatbush Cigar Co.
Gotham says its edge is service, plus a huge selection. We cannot test service from a screen, so we stuck to what the site lists.

A 7 x 50 Churchill handcrafted in Nicaragua with premium aged Nicaraguan tobaccos. Gotham lists it at $39.79, down from $45.00. A five pack is a low risk way to try a size.
Churchills run long, so plan for a slow smoke.
Best For: Smokers who want a balanced Nicaraguan cigar in a small pack.
2. 5 Boroughs 212 Toro
A mild to medium cigar handmade at the Tabacalera Pages factory in Nicaragua. It uses a three region long filler blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos. The MSRP is $55.99 and Gotham lists $43.69 to $45.99 depending on the option.
It is the gentlest pick on this list.
Best For: Newer smokers and anyone who likes a lighter cigar.
3. Flatbush Stoop 526 Churchill
A medium bodied 7 x 50 with a two region Nicaraguan blend from Condega and Jalapa and a Nicaraguan Habano binder. The MSRP is $49.50, and Gotham lists $36.58 to $38.50.
It is a house brand, so it is a Gotham only find.
Best For: Medium strength fans who want a New York themed line.
4. Tyson 2.0 Undisputed Maduro 6 x 54
Gotham calls this a bold, full bodied cigar with deep complexity and a smooth finish, wrapped in a dark, oily Maduro leaf. The box was listed at $199.99, down from $285.00.
It is the big spend on this list, and it is strong.
Best For: Experienced smokers who want a full bodied box.
5. Premium Cigar Samplers
Not sure where to start? Samplers let you try several cigars without buying a full box. Gotham points to them for anyone who wants a few different flavors.
Prices vary by sampler, so check the page for current options.
