Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: May 26, 2026

Honesty about how we make money matters. This page explains how TheViralKit earns revenue and our commitment to keeping reviews independent.

The short version: When you click a link on this site and buy something from a merchant we have partnered with, we may earn a commission. You do not pay extra. We never accept payment to write a positive review.

How affiliate marketing works on TheViralKit

TheViralKit is a participant in various affiliate marketing programs. This means we have agreements with merchants and affiliate networks that pay us a commission when a reader clicks our link and completes a qualifying purchase on the merchant's website.

Here is exactly how the process works:

  1. We test and review products we believe genuinely deserve attention
  2. Our reviews include affiliate links to merchants who sell those products
  3. When you click an affiliate link, a tracking cookie or SubID is recorded
  4. If you complete a purchase within the cookie window (usually 7 to 90 days), the merchant pays us a small commission
  5. You pay nothing extra. The price you see is the price you pay. The commission comes from the merchant's marketing budget.

Our editorial principles

These four rules guide every review on TheViralKit:

01

We test what we recommend.

Every product is bought, used, and reviewed by our editors. No free samples, no review copies, no shortcuts.

02

Commission does not buy a recommendation.

If a product fails our testing, we say so loudly. Higher commission rates do not push a product onto our recommendation list.

03

Disclosure on every page.

Every page with affiliate links displays a clear disclosure at the top. We mark all affiliate links with rel="nofollow sponsored" tags.

04

You always get the real price.

The price on the merchant page is the price you pay. We never mark up products. The commission comes from the merchant's budget.

Affiliate networks and programs we work with

TheViralKit currently participates in or has worked with the following affiliate networks and programs:

Active partnerships

Happy Birdy (Smart Hummingbird Feeder)
Lensera / OcuFrames (Smart Glasses)
Herz P1 (Smart Ring)
Glokore (LED Therapy Mask)
Wuzutech affiliate network
Other direct-merchant programs

This list is not exhaustive. We add new partnerships when we find products worth featuring and remove partners that no longer meet our standards.

FTC and global compliance

TheViralKit follows the United States Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Endorsement Guides for affiliate marketing. This means:

We also comply with the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), the EU Digital Services Act, the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) influencer guidelines, and India's Consumer Protection Act for digital influencers.

What affiliate links look like

You can identify affiliate links on our site by:

What happens after you click

When you click an affiliate link, you are taken to the merchant's website. From that moment:

If you have questions about a purchase, contact the merchant directly. Their contact details are usually on the order confirmation email or the merchant's website.

What we earn (and why it matters)

Commission rates vary by merchant, usually between 5% and 40% of the product price. We earn nothing if you do not buy anything. We earn nothing on returns or refunded purchases.

The income from affiliate commissions funds:

Without affiliate revenue, this site would not exist. Thank you for supporting independent editorial.
